Tailor-Made Tours

We design tailor-made trips to Argentina and South America to fit individual customer’s needs. We offer two different kinds of tours: Trips based on both our own experience and knowledge of the region and on the advice of our customers or else, tailor-made trips, designed according to our passengers’’ requests and with the advice and orientation of our work team. Argentinian Explorer is a wholesale agency, for our products are put together by ourselves and we have a direct contact with our operators, service providers and airlines. This means no intermediaries, so we can offer a quick response to any logistic issues that may arise during your trip. Our rates are lower due to the fact that there are no intermediaries.

Although we are a wholesale agency, our customers are basically in the retailer market around the whole world. In spite of this, we offer our products and services to travel agencies in the rest of the world. We present our options in 6 languages – Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, Italian and German – in order to reach every corner of the globe. We take care of our customers speaking their own language, responding by e-mail and holding conversations in their native language.

Our Philosophy – Quality Service & Excellence in Customer Care

Work Philosophy

Our work philosophy is mainly based on two principles:

  1. Service quality and
  2. Excellence in customer care.

When talking about service quality….

It means responding to our customers’ requests in due time and proper form, effectively delivering the offered product. We work with small operators, so our services are always well provided. We avoid mass tourism.

An example will best describe it:

Being welcomed at the airport by a 40 seater bus is not the same as being welcomed by a 15 seater van. The difference lies on waiting time. Mass tourism operators work with large numbers of passengers because they offer their services to high volumes of customers so their service lacks the human touch. Our operators work selectively with small groups, for our fundamental goal is to maintain service quality and excellence in customer care.

For us the quality of the services should be up to level with the original choice of the customer, and hotels in the selected category are offered in every destination. Around South America and Europe, star classification for hotels is relative, since few countries actually control quality consistency throughout the audited year.

Our advice is not to consider star classification because it may lead to the unexpected. The lack of continuous auditions implies that many accommodations classified with several stars when opening were not properly maintained throughout the years, and should have less stars now.

When we talk about excellence in customer care…

We mean we offer personalized care for the customer:

  1. Quick response - Quickness implies promptness and efficiency.
  2. Almost 100% online tracking.
  3. Responding to all inquiries.
  4. We do not just inform, we GIVE ADVICE and we are your trustworthy guide in your travel. While processing your travel options, we maintain active communications by e-mail and telephone, for essential feedback.
  5. Permanent Communication. Once your trip starts, we keep an open communication during your tour in case any problem may arise, in order to provide a solution in due time and proper form.

When selecting hotels we keep in mind their hospitality and how our customers are welcomed. We exclude hotels with repeated unfavorable reviews from our customers. We favor small hotels run by their owners, such as the Hotel Campanilla in Ushuaia and the Terragonia Apart Boutique in San Martín de los Andes, among others.

Customer Support in Force Majeure Events

In force majeure or emergency events, i.e. any contingency beyond passenger’s control, such as illness or well-justified situations, we offer our customers the option of leaving the trip open-ended for unlimited time, so that your investment is not lost! Thus, you avoid penalties, except for the ones imposed by airline cancelations in economy class or by a different operator.

In this case, cancellation penalties are only small amounts depending on our operators’ policies. This is why hiring cancellation insurance for your trip is not really necessary. Our mission is not only to make you travel, but to keep you travelling, so we are always there to help out on such events.
