Day 1 - Exploring Córdoba, La Docta

Reception at Córdoba City Airport and transfer to the hotel.

We take a tour of the most emblematic sites of the city, which allows us to learn about its history, architecture, and cultural life. We begin by visiting the Historic Center, where we admire the majestic Cathedral Church, a religious and architectural symbol of the city, the historic Cabildo, witness to the most important events in the region, and San Martín Square, a green space that combines history, art, and the daily life of Cordobans. We continue our walk towards the Jesuit Block, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000, where the impressive colonial architecture and cultural importance of this area for the foundation and development of Córdoba stand out. Later, we head to the Nueva Córdoba neighborhood, one of the most dynamic areas in economic, cultural, and recreational terms, where historic buildings blend with modern spaces of art, gastronomy, and entertainment. Nearby, we visit the Church of the Capuchins, a mid-20th-century neo-Gothic construction, the Paseo del Buen Pastor, a cultural and artistic center combining art, gastronomy, and public spaces, the Superior Museum of Fine Arts Palacio Ferreyra, with its rich collection of Argentine and Latin American art, and the Emilio Caraffa Museum of Contemporary Art, a reference for current artistic expressions. Finally, we stroll through Sarmiento Park, one of the oldest in South America, designed by the famous French architect Carlos Thays, a space that combines nature, history, and recreation, ideal to close our tour of the city.

Day 2 - Traslasierra: High Peaks Road

Breakfast at the hotel. A visit to the distant and fascinating Traslasierra Valley becomes a journey truly worth taking, not only because of the beauty of the landscape but also for the unique experience it offers. This tour invites us to discover the impressive High Peaks Road, a route that winds through peaks and valleys, offering spectacular views at every turn, and to cross the famous Pampa de Achala, a highland area that dazzles with its vastness and pure, wild atmosphere. Along the way, the journey passes through part of the Quebrada del Condorito National Park and the Pampa de Achala Provincial Water Reserve, protected areas that conserve unique species of flora and fauna, especially highlighting the majestic Andean Condor, which soars over the canyons in a breathtaking spectacle for visitors. Descending into the valley, we pass through a series of picturesque mountain towns where life flows calmly, surrounded by nature and local traditions, offering genuine contact with the regional culture. During the tour, we also learn about the life and work of Saint Cura Brochero, known for his dedication and commitment to the welfare of the community, and visit the multifaceted Rocsen Museum, a place that surprises with its varied and unusual collection, covering science, art, history, and curiosities from all over the world. This trip combines adventure, nature, culture, and spirituality, offering each traveler an enriching and unforgettable experience. Does not include entry to Museums, Parks and/or Reserves, or Meals.

Day 3 - The Jesuit Estancias Route

In this tour, we head north to visit three of the Jesuit Estancias declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Colonia Caroya, Jesús María, and Santa Catalina, all located along the old Camino Real to Upper Peru. The first stop is in Colonia Caroya, a town marked by Italian immigration, whose influence is still present in the artisanal production of pasta, cheese, ham, salami, and wine. Here, we find the Jesuit Estancia founded in 1616, which became a key point in the system organized by the Jesuits. Next, we continue to the city of Jesús María, crossing the grounds where Argentina’s largest Festival of Horseback Riding and Folklore is held every January, to visit the Estancia de Jesús María, built in 1618. Its museum invites us to explore rooms of great value, particularly the archaeological collection and the Cusco sacred art. Finally, we arrive at the Estancia de Santa Catalina, founded in 1622, known for its monumental church, considered one of the most outstanding examples of colonial Baroque in Argentina. During its heyday, Santa Catalina was an important livestock production center with thousands of cattle, sheep, and mules, which supplied the entire region. At the end of our circuit, we head back to the city of Córdoba, crossing the picturesque Sierras Chicas area. The history of these estancias is best understood by remembering that the Society of Jesus, founded by Saint Ignatius of Loyola in 1540, was one of the most influential Catholic orders in the world. Between 1599, the year of their arrival in Córdoba, and 1767, when they were expelled by order of King Carlos III of Spain, the Jesuits developed a vast cultural, social, and economic system that left an indelible mark on the province, and whose legacy can still be felt today in these heritage treasures. Entrance fees to Museums, Parks, and/or Reserves, and Meals are not included.

Day 4 - La Cumbrecita

The excursion invites us to discover one of the most charming jewels of the Sierras of Córdoba: La Cumbrecita, the first pedestrian village in Argentina and South America, a place that seems to transport us to an authentic Central European landscape in the middle of the Calamuchita Valley. The tour begins in the morning, crossing picturesque towns such as Alta Gracia, Anizacate, La Bolsa, Villa Los Aromos, La Serranita, and La Rancherita. From Villa Ciudad de América, nature offers us unforgettable postcards with panoramic views of the Los Molinos Reservoir, where we pause at one of its viewpoints to contemplate the serenity of the lake framed by mountains. Continuing the ascent to the Sierras Grandes, we reach 1,450 meters above sea level, where La Cumbrecita is located, a village declared a multiple-use reserve. Its streets are exclusively for pedestrians, and there flourish coniferous forests and Alpine-style buildings that evoke life in an Alpine village. There we take a walk along the traditional circuit, visiting emblematic spots such as La Olla, the Ecumenical Church, and the picturesque Waterfall, where water and greenery blend into a dreamlike natural setting. The experience continues in Villa General Belgrano, a town founded by German immigrants, famous for its Tyrolean architecture, exquisite Central European gastronomy, and craft beer production. Its celebrations, such as Oktoberfest, the Alpine Chocolate Festival, and the Viennese Dough Festival, have made it a cultural icon of the region. On the way back, we take an alternative provincial route that leads us through the town of Los Reartes and the tributaries of Lake Los Molinos — rivers such as Los Reartes, Del Medio, Los Espinillos, and San Pedro — crossing Potrero de Garay and Villa Ciudad de América, closing a day where nature, history, and traditions combine in an unforgettable experience.

Day 5 - Return to Buenos Aires

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Córdoba Airport. Reception at Jorge Newbery Airport in Buenos Aires and transfer to the hotel.

Day 6 - Classic City Tour of Buenos Aires & Navigation on the Paraná River Delta

Traveling along the main avenues of Buenos Aires, we will embark on a journey through the city’s most iconic neighborhoods: Recoleta, Retiro, San Nicolás, Montserrat, San Telmo, and La Boca. Each neighborhood offers a unique experience and a window into the rich history and culture of Buenos Aires. In Recoleta, we’ll admire luxurious palaces and the elegance of Avenida Alvear, while Retiro and San Nicolás showcase some of the city's most recognizable landmarks, such as the majestic Teatro Colón and the imposing Obelisco, symbols of local identity. San Telmo will take us along its narrow, cobbled streets filled with history, antiques, and the bohemian essence of the city. Montserrat and historic Plaza de Mayo immerse us in the political and cultural heart of Buenos Aires, with emblematic buildings and a fascinating past. Finally, in La Boca we’ll discover the famous and colorful Caminito street, full of art, tango, and tradition, and stroll through the modern revitalized area of Puerto Madero, with its contemporary architecture, top-tier restaurants, and waterfront promenade reflecting the city's urban transformation. This tour allows us to appreciate the architectural, cultural, and social diversity of Buenos Aires, blending history, art, tradition, and modernity into an unforgettable experience.

We will take a boat tour through the Paraná River Delta in the Tigre area, navigating its internal channels that form labyrinths. Afterwards, we will explore the northern residential suburbs of the city. To get to Tigre, we will take a bus heading north. Along the way, we will pass parks, Jorge Newbery Airport, and the River Plate stadium. Once in Tigre, we board a boat to begin navigating the Delta, passing islands, islets, rivers, and streams. We will connect with wildlife, observing native flora and fauna in a 16,500 km² area mostly covered by subtropical jungle. The Paraná Delta originates in the province of Entre Ríos and is divided into three main sections: Upper, Middle, and Lower Delta. It empties into the Lower Delta at the Río de la Plata. We will also visit the exclusive neighborhood of San Isidro, including the early 20th-century Gothic Cathedral (optional) and its historic center.

Day 7 - Walking through Recoleta - Tango Dinner Show

In this tour, we will immerse ourselves in the elegant and mysterious soul of Recoleta, one of the most emblematic neighborhoods of Buenos Aires. For two hours, we will walk among aristocratic mansions, architectural gems, and spaces filled with history, art, and secrets to discover. We begin our walk in front of the Church of Our Lady of Carmen, from where we delve into the colonial past and urban evolution of the neighborhood. We cross Rodríguez Peña Square, a green space with history, and continue towards the imposing Pizzurno Palace, home to the Ministry of Education and an example of Buenos Aires architectural eclecticism. Then, we approach the Tango Promenade, where the spirit of the 2x4 comes alive in the heart of Recoleta, and visit the magnificent Ateneo Grand Splendid, a former theater converted into one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world. We continue to the monumental Palacio de Aguas Corrientes, a true cathedral of 19th-century engineering, covered in glazed ceramics and full of urban history. Finally, we pass by the buildings of the Faculties of Medicine and Economics, icons of the city’s and country’s educational development. Throughout the walk, we will discover anecdotes, legends, and little-known details that make Recoleta a unique place, where history, culture, and Buenos Aires elegance intertwine in every corner.

In the evening we enjoy a dinner and Tango show at one of the best venues of Buenos Aires ( Homero Manzi / Complejo Tango / Señor Tango / La Esquina de Carlos Gardel / Madero Tango). The Tango has a special charm outside of its origin: From New York to Sydney, people that have never visited Argentina are left seduced by its mystique and sensuality. Others stay captivated by the music. This original tour traces in parallel the history of the city and that of the tango journeying by its different stages of development from its birth in the slums, to its consummation in the Avenida Corrientes and its later internationalization.

Day 8 - Walking through San Telmo & Puerto Madero

On this tour, we are going to dive into the heart of San Telmo, the oldest neighborhood of Buenos Aires. For three hours, we will discover its colonial past, its evolution as a cultural melting pot, and the impact of Tango on its identity. We begin in front of the Pirámide de Mayo and walk toward the imposing Otto Wulff Building and the Convent of Santo Domingo, protagonist of the English Invasions. Then, we tour the “Paseo de la Historieta”, where Mafalda awaits us — an icon of the neighborhood and of Argentine comics. We continue to the enigmatic Zanjón de Granados (no access) and the curious Casa Mínima, the narrowest house in the city. We also visit the Parish of San Pedro González Telmo, Plaza Dorrego — the neighborhood’s center and stage of the traditional fair — and the elegant Casa Ezeiza. We approach the Museum of Modern Art, where contemporary art dialogues with the industrial history of the neighborhood, and the Old Solar de French, home of the vibrant San Telmo Fair. We close the tour at the Penitentiary Museum “Antonio Ballvé”, which shows us a less known side of the city. Throughout the tour, we will live the authentic spirit of San Telmo: its history, its characters, its art, and its unique energy.

On this tour we're going to discover together Puerto Madero, the most modern neighborhood of Buenos Aires, where contemporary architecture merges with port history and the natural beauty of the Río de la Plata. We will walk through an area that was a symbol of neglect and today is one of the most elegant, dynamic, and representative spaces of the city. We begin our walk at the Pirámide de Mayo and from there head to the Monument to Brown, to talk about the naval and patriotic spirit that shaped port development. Then, we look at the imposing Palacio Libertad (former CCK), an icon of institutional and cultural architecture in Buenos Aires. We enter Puerto Madero proper, touring the docks, where we will learn about the history of the old port and the context of the three ports of the city. There, the original cranes rise as witnesses of the industrial past, contrasting with modern curtain‑wall architecture towers, like the YPF Tower and the Hilton Hotel. Facing the river, we visit the historic Corbeta Uruguay, a ship symbolic of scientific explorations and naval missions. Next, we cross Mujeres Argentinas Park, a green space that pays tribute to great women figures from our history. We pass by the Reserva Ecológica Costanera Sur (we see it from outside), an incredible natural lung right in the urban center, and approach the emblematic Puente de la Mujer, work of architect Santiago Calatrava and a symbol of the neighborhood. Very close by is the Fragata Sarmiento, another naval treasure that has accompanied generations of Argentine sailors. Finally, we close our tour at the steps leading toward the Casa Rosada, with a panoramic view of the contrast between past and present, river and city. Throughout the tour we will speak of architecture, history, urbanism, art and environment, discovering how Puerto Madero transformed into a true urban landmark and a must‑visit for those wanting to understand the contemporary essence of Buenos Aires.
